Position Overview:

We’re looking for exceptional leaders with a passion for technology and the ability to work with a diverse team. As a Senior Product Manager within Mobile Game Technology, you will be responsible for leading the Product function to design, develop, and maintain Zynga’s platform portfolio, accelerating game development and streamlining live operations. This role is focused on overseeing product offerings across Identity, Social, and Core Backend.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the full product lifecycle, including product vision, competitive analysis, requirements gathering, feature prioritization, spec writing, roadmap management, and partner alignment.
- Drive the product strategy, product specifications, and collaborate with game teams to achieve product success.
- Define how to measure product success and effectiveness. Apply qualitative consumer insights and quantitative data to advise product decisions and build business rationale.
- Build product vision by understanding customer needs, partnering closely with Product and Engineering leaders on game teams to create feedback loops for continued improvements and identify patterns of need across Zynga.
- Evangelize our offerings by articulating the value of our products and how they help solve the problems faced by our customers while aligning roadmaps to facilitate go-to-market execution.
- Identify & deconstruct competitive offerings in the market, formulate insights and use them to drive future roadmap direction.
- Responsible for a large Mobile Game Technology product area and/or multiple products.
- Collaborate closely with other technical leaders in Mobile Game Technology and across fields to drive best practices and positive team culture.
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of product management in digital products, games, or mobile apps.
- Familiarity with digital user profiles, data privacy or compliance is beneficial but not required.
- Start-up, social networking, or consulting experience is a strong plus
- Strong product management expertise and experience building great products that meet customer needs
- Sound product judgment, ability to formulate product strategy and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals.
- Ability to create wireframes, product specifications, and white papers.
- Experience using lean, data-driven principles to improve a product. Some experience with data analytics and SQL is preferred.
- Ability to balance player, game, and business interests while considering technical costs and tradeoffs.
- Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff.
- Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical abilities, and attention to detail
- A driven self-starter and a great teammate
- BA/BS degree, MBA, or Computer Science preferred

The pay range for this position in Illinois at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,100 and $145,200 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
