Position Overview:
We are seeking an outstanding and experienced artist for the role of aSenior Marketing Artistto join our Zynga Studio One Marketing Creative Team, where they will focus on the creation of engaging marketing assets across Zynga’s portfolio. This artist can demonstrate a range of work highlighting their ability to build visually appealing content that entices and steers consumer behavior towards marketing goals. The Senior Marketing Artist should be able to deliver high quality, engaging designs & videos across a variety of styles on tight deadlines, working closely with other Designers, Product Managers, Producers, and Art Leads.
You will be a key, hands-on figure in the overall design pipeline, collaborating with stakeholders to produce compelling content that engages audiences to install and play our mobile games worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Create new, original creatives, guided by feedback from the team and UA
- Use existing game art assets to create marketing materials, including display ads, game icons, screenshots, video ads, email campaigns, website visuals, and promotional content
- Identify new market trends and conduct creative analysis of competitor ads
- Work with the creative team to quickly conceptualize, implement, and iterate on compositions for deployment across digital marketing channels
- Take an active, hands-on role in helping to develop, maintain, and refine marketing art
- Help identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement within the creative process
- Be agile, take ownership of projects and responsibility quickly and efficiently to new demands, priorities or changes in direction
- Stay up-to-date with industry and Marketing trends along with emerging technologies that can continuously improve design skills and promote innovative ideas to the team
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in a similar role (2+ years minimum)
- Understanding and experience working with casual mobile games
- Advanced knowledge of key creative software (Adobe Creative Suite) - Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
- Advanced knowledge of design principles such as color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and more
- Strong proficiency in motion design, with a keen eye for pacing, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Proven expertise in motion graphics and 2D animation to create scroll-stopping video ads.
- Solid understanding of UA advertising and user motivations across different networks; familiarity with mobile gaming trends
- Experience working on live projects or products
- Comfort, enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and engage with AI tools for generative video/animated content, automated workflows and more
- JIRA experience desirable but not essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Multimedia, or related field preferred.
- A portfolio of recent work demonstrating your skill and breadth of experience

The pay range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,700 and $112,060 CAD per Year.
The pay range for this position in Illinois at the start of employment is expected to be between $87,100 and $128,920 per Year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
