Panel Spotlight: “Connected Realities – Adapting Creative Tech Skills Across Industries”

One of this year’s headline sessions explores one of the most urgent topics facing the industry: how Artists, Technologists, and Designers can adapt their skills across VFX, Animation, Games, Immersive Media, Automotive Visualisation, and Product Design.
Moderated by DAX’s Simon Davies, the panel brought together studio leaders and cross-disciplinary creatives who have navigated—and thrived—in an increasingly convergent industry landscape.
Huge thanks to Javier Romero, Founder of Starframe Filmworks, Tech Industry Leader María Carmen Fernández Tallón, Cinesite's Andy McNamara, Mohen Leo of ILM and Ignasi Duelo of Hogarth in Barcelona.
The panel shared valuable knowledge and actionable insights covering:
- which creative and technical skills transfer across sectors
- how real-time tools and AI are reshaping pipelines
- strategies for transitioning between industries
- how emerging talent can stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market
