Our mission is to support visual effects & creative professionals seeking a fulfilling career to flourish - in turn, creating a positive ripple effect throughout the creative industries.
Open Frame Coaching was born out of a desire and determination to support creative professionals and companies to flourish.
Our founder, Debra Coleman, is not only a qualified Business and Personal Coach, but is also a VFX veteran, meaning she understands the unique challenges faced in creative project based industries.

Ok, but what is Coaching?
Coaching provides a safe and supportive space to enable someone to expand their thinking, increase their self-awareness, unburden and overcome worries, identify what is important to them and take positive action towards attaining their goals.
Effective coaching will improve self-confidence, mindset, behaviour, communication and performance. Not bad, eh?!
We provide 1:1 coaching to both those who are interested in their own development (self funding professionals), and studios looking to invest in their talent - and are pleased to include Scanline VFX powered by Netflix, BAFTA winning Union VFX and TWIN amongst our clients.

Group workshops
Pulling teams together
At OFC, we draw on our creative problem solving to design bespoke workshops to address specific team requirements. Some recent examples include:
A renowned film school was struggling to get their film students to work together as a team. We designed a highly nurturing and interactive full day workshop, mindful of the neurodiversity within the group - and by the end of the day, the students were ready, willing and able to pull together on their upcoming films.
The Library and Information Association (CILIP) identified a need to train all of the staff on the importance and art of giving effective feedback. We were happy to rise to the challenge of engaging a large group (50+) throughout a half day workshop on this vital and often requested topic.
The 3D Artist Community are a group of like-minded creative and collaborative 3d artists across a wide variety of disciplines, brought together by their shared interests. They approached OFC to lead them in clarifying their purpose, identifying goals and establishing roles within the organisation - essentially the Why, What, How.
