We are seeking an experienced Executive in Visual Effects to help lead our studio by fostering a vibrant culture that attracts and retains top talent. This role involves overseeing production planning and quality, ensuring projects are adequately resourced to meet both creative and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in the visual effects industry and a passion for team development and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production planning and quality assurance, ensuring all projects have the necessary resources.
- Actively participate in projects when needed, especially during critical phases to steer projects back on track.
- Work closely with Producers and the production team assigned to projects to ensure that best practices are being followed.
- Assist in day-to-day studio operations, including staff supervision and monitoring financial performance.
- Ensure operational efficiency and alignment with company goals.
- Create, review, and sign off on reports from project producers, integrating data into centralized KPI and performance tracking systems.
- Monitor project and site profitability, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Oversee financial and resource management for all shows, ensuring budget adherence and profitability.
- Engage in strategy and planning for the company's growth and development, contributing to long-term vision and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to help develop and implement North America-wide production systems and processes.
- Help build and maintain a strong studio culture that promotes collaboration, creativity, and employee satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among team members.
