Job Description
The Content & Social Media Specialist is responsible for the management, development, content creation, and monitoring of Rodeo FX’s 12 social media accounts across various platforms and brands. As our social media expert, the role will be involved in the development of our content strategies and the distribution of our marketing content across our various web platforms to generate exciting content adapted to our various target audiences.
Main Responsibilities:
SOCIAL MEDIA
- Develop and maintain our social media playbooks for our various brands and platforms;
- Develop, plan and implement the social media content calendars;
- Present content and initiatives that meet best social media practices;
- Thoroughly manage community engagement by following social conversations and responding to subscriber comments and questions;
- Ensure the update of all our profiles and social accounts;
- Develop, execute, analyze and optimize our social media campaigns to promote our content and support our growth;
- Monitor and track the performance of our various accounts weekly to track results against our goals and performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations and solutions according to the results obtained.
CONTENT CREATION & DISTRIBUTION
- Actively contribute to the creation and production of branded content series, highlighting our projects, employer brand and build bridges with other relevant disciplines, popular culture and emerging cultures to generate content that will capture the audience attention;
- Support, plan or create video and photo content aligned with our brands and elaborate graphic design from templates;
- Write short-form copy in both English and French for our content, primarily for social media, but also occasionally for newsletters and websites;
- Assist the team with the integration and distribution of our quarterly newsletters;
- Assist the team with the integration, creation, and publication of content on our website;
- Occasionally handle the creation and publication of short articles on our intranet.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- DEC in communications, marketing or a related field;
- In-depth expertise of social media platforms (notably: Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook, etc.);
- Great writing skills in English and French;
- Collaborative and a team player;
- Excellent adaptability, time management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage priorities, and work under pressure;
- In-depth knowledge of graphic design softwares;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to learn new tools and software.
