Responsibilities- Keyframe animation of creatures in a realistic style.
- Cleaning and enhancing Motion Capture data for humanoids
- Championing the artistic vision of the Animation Director through the creation of benchmark quality work.
- Research, Previsualization, and Prototyping of new features and systems.
- Creating documentation for workflows and pipelines.
- Thorough implementation, testing, and debugging of your work in engine.
- Cross-departmental collaboration.
- Mentoring less experienced members of the team to manage their tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements- 8+ years of game animation experience.
- High proficiency with Autodesk Maya.
- A passion for Gameplay Animation and the detail orientated mentality it requires to achieve exceptional results.
- A desire to provide the player with a memorable and unique experience through visual storytelling.
- Advanced understanding of animation principles and body mechanics.
- A curious and proactive mindset in regards to staying up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and methodologies.
- A demo reel showcasing your animation skills.
- This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration and creativity.
Nice to have- Experience working in a game engine (Unreal, Unity, proprietary) including work with state machines.
- Knowledge of the character rigging and animation pipelines.
- A passion for video games, especially RPGs.
- Experience working with actors in a motion capture volume.
