Responsibilities
- Help organise and follow up on the assigned Area/feature(s)
- Help manage Area/feature groups from start to finish, and ensure delivery
- Help analyse and translate new features and ideas into requirements and action plans
- Help track work and progress and react accordingly
- Help set up and update high level roadmap and planning of the assigned Area /feature(s)
- Identify and set up useful reports for the Area/feature(s)
- Advise and assess priorities (and new requests) progress and quality for Area/feature(s)
- Based on the status of Area/features, advise and reprioritise, rescope
- Unblock, solve or escalate issues to Domain or Heads of Production, remove distractions
- Filter, prioritise, interpret, analyse and help assign bug reports
- Communicate and align with third parties, internal management, and other departments
- Assist in creating and implementing processes that will improve quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Experience in game development and game production
- Experience managing local and distributed teams
- Advanced understanding of Jira, and its setup/operation
- Advanced understanding of spreadsheets, beyond basic usage
- Advanced English communication, writing and reporting skills
A clear communicator, understands when to report up, down and everything in between; to inform, update and align.
- Pragmatic mindset (i.e the voice of reason and the reality check in the room)
- Problem solving skills, going into finishing mode, identifying correct priorities
- Ability to view things impartially, with refined self-assessment and personal accountability
- Highly familiar with Production software and technically-proficient
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, and bring clarity and structure
Nice to haves
- A hands-on technical background in game development
- One or more shipped AAA projects
- Experience with Shotgrid and its setup & operation
