Job Description:
As the Analytics Lead for Foundation in Candy Crush Saga, your responsibility is to lead the Analytics work across the domain. You and the team are responsible for feeding valuable insights that will guide the product discovery, product priorities and support along the development process, including AI/ML initiatives. Your responsibility is also to understand and inform on the domain's performance and outlook while delivering timely, accurate, and relevant reporting. As an expert in your area, you will provide actionable information and tools to the right stakeholders at the right time, enabling the domain to make informed decisions.
You will also establish and maintain robust methodologies and processes to support a solid experimentation strategy and help set standards for excellent operations. By continuously identifying opportunities for improvement, you will empower the organization to deliver better experiences to our players.
Reporting into the Product Director your primary focus will be to build and lead the team of Data scientist and product analysts and drive the insights generation and process for the domain, and the wider Candy team when it comes to operations and insights.
In short, the purpose of the role is to:
Source for insight on past, current and future performance of the domain products as a whole. This includes Candy work on AI/ML as well.
Deliver actionable insights that enable Foundation domain to execute its strategy effectively and support its journey toward growth
Report on domain’s performance internally and to the broader Candy organization including reporting of value creation from product teams (incl. e.g. P&O reporting)
Oversee and improve Foundation experimentation methodology and processes
Perform targeted domain specific analysis
Set direction and drive the work Analytics, Data Science and Operations in Foundation
Reports and analytics tools building (and automation)
Incident mgmt support and KPI trends monitoring
Interface and collaboration with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing in-game revenue and player engagement metrics, including spending patterns, monetization performance, and key indicators
Build a high performing and engaged team
Besides your analytics and operations responsibility, you will be mentoring and coaching the broader Foundation domain on best practices on analytics and insights generation.

Understanding of analytics, production, operations and incident processes and ability to drive delivery. Understanding of how to work with AI/ML in games is a plus.

5+ years professional experience in analytics with exposure and understanding of reporting and systems, including business
Passion for empirical research and qualitative research
Advanced spreadsheet skills and proficiency with statistical packages
Collaborative team player with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
Experienced people/team leader, with experience in leading analytical roles such as Data Scientists and Product Analysts as well as experience leading operations
High-impact communication skills with ability to present complex data in logical, concise and insightful ways
Results orientation with strong track record of success and real impact
Evidence of learning quickly and ability to build on existing business foundations
Integrity, advanced professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company and employee information
BA or BS required, MS ( or PHD ) preferred
Prior experience in the gaming industry
