Whatwe'retypically looking for
Many of our Java engineering teams work on large-scale backend systems that support millions of players around the world. While every role is different, we often look for engineers with experience in:
- Strong Core Java development
- Concurrency and multithreading
- Building high-performance applications, distributed systems, or backend services
- Designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software
- Working with high-traffic systems or products serving large user bases
- Writing clean, well-tested, production-quality code
While experience with frameworks such as Spring can certainly be useful, our teamsgenerally placegreater emphasis on a strong understanding ofCore Java fundamentalsrather than extensive reliance onframework-baseddevelopment.
Many of our engineers have joined King from fintech, e-commerce, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and other technology companies, though of course a gaming background is also highly valued. In short, ifyou'vebuilt complex backend systems at scale,we'dlove to hear from you.
