Are you a highly organised production professional who thrives on turning high-level plans into seamless day-to-day execution?
We are looking for a Line Producer to join our global team at Megalis. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational execution of assigned shows, translating high-level plans, budgets, and priorities into clear schedules, assignments, and delivery targets. By focusing on internal delivery, schedule integrity, and operational problem-solving, you will ensure work flows efficiently through the pipeline and empower our Producers to manage client-facing responsibilities effectively.
This role is well suited to delivery-focused professionals who are calm under pressure, practical in their approach, and skilled at balancing competing priorities across departments. If you enjoy being close to the work, communicating clearly and respectfully, and supporting teams to deliver their best without creating unnecessary stress, you will be right at home here.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Execution & Scheduling: Own the daily running of assigned shows by building, adjusting, and maintaining detailed production schedules in collaboration with Supervisors and Coordinators to meet delivery targets.
- Team Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary internal point of coordination, communicating priorities, changes, and expectations clearly to artists and leads while fostering a calm, organised, and solution-oriented environment.
- Dependency & Risk Management: Track interdepartmental dependencies to ensure upstream work is delivered on time, proactively identifying and escalating risks or production issues before they impact delivery.
- Tracking & Reporting: Ensure production tracking tools (e.g., ShotGrid) accurately reflect current statuses, maintaining clean data to provide regular, concise status updates to the Producer.
- Reviews & Delivery Support: Organise and oversee dailies, reviews, and internal milestones, tracking notes and iterations to coordinate internal delivery readiness ahead of client submissions.
- External Coordination: Support the tracking and coordination of outsourced work where applicable, ensuring clear communication of priorities, deadlines, and quality expectations to vendors.
What You’ll Bring
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in VFX production, including hands-on show delivery responsibilities and proven experience managing schedules and coordinating teams.
- Production Expertise: A strong understanding of VFX workflows, terminology, interdepartmental dependencies, and the ability to maintain structure and remain decisive in fast-paced environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid proficiency with production tracking platforms such as ShotGrid, alongside standard scheduling tools and software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English required; Japanese language skills are considered an advantage.
If you’re ready to help keep creativity flowing and support the artists who bring incredible worlds to life, we’d love to hear from you.
