Hello,
I'm Alessio Oliverio, an FX Artist/TD based in Rome. I have 7+ Years of experience
in VFX.
I landed in the VFX industry in mid 2017 after a 1 year Master in Hypergraphics at Quasar Design University, a 2 weeks Houdini FX Masterclass with Jean Claude Nouchy and a 3 months stage.
I have an Aerospatial Engineering background, since I have a strong passion for flight and my interest in physics, mathematics, programming and cinema guided me in choosing this wonderful job. After a couple of production experiences, in January 2018 I joined Chromatica. It's one of the best Italian Visual Effects companies, with a team of about 30 people. During these years it has produced high-level visual effects in which I had the honor of participating; collaborating with internationally renowned directors such as Paolo Sorrentino, Bille August, Marco Bellocchio, Matteo Garrone etc..
In this journey my skills have been transversal, from compositing to matchmoving and finally to FX.
