About the role
As a Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain an online backend platform for We Will Be Gods, an upcoming strategy war game on a massive scale.
Location: Stockholm or Malmö, Sweden
What you will do
- Develop an online backend platform for We Will Be Gods
- Working closely with game developers on related initiatives
- Troubleshoot and solve problems in the online backend platform domain
You have
- Go programming language or other languages that will allow you to pick up Go quickly
- REST/gRPC API/service development
- Containers and related workflows
- Version control systems such as Git
- Relational database technologies such as Postgres/MySQL
Bonus points
- Familiarity with cloud vendors and their offering
- Linux
- If not experience working on games, a passion for playing them
