As a Lead Animator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character, creature and/or object animations for feature films, typically tackling the hardest shots and/or finding solutions to support other members of the team in completing their shots.

Key Responsibilities- Create high-quality character, creature and/or object animations for feature films
- Work closely with other leads, supervisors and head of department to identify and solve problems, both technical and artistic
- Work with the rigging department to ensure rigs meet the needs of the animation department
- Support animation team members, particularly with the technical side of creating shots
Qualifications- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a animation lead position on feature films
- Knowledge of Maya (required)
- Must have a strong sense of animation basics; acting, staging, posing, weight, timing and storytelling
- A good attitude and ability to smoothly change and adapt with the project
- Background or experience in fine arts demonstrating a thorough understanding of physical motion, weight, and composition
- Knowledge of human and animal anatomy as well as life drawing skills is desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot/solve technical problems and escalate as needed
- Knowledge of Nuke and 3ds Max (a plus)
- Coding /scripting experiences in python and or mel (a plus)
- Previs experience a plus

- 필요한 작업에 대한 계획 및 예상 일정을 제공
- 적절한 계획을 수립하며 department manager와 함께 쇼에 필요한 팀을 구성
- Department manager와 함께 리소스 요구사항을 계획하고 예측
- 주기적인 회의 및 리뷰를 진행하고 창의적인 해결책을 제공
- 클라이언 피드백을 정리해서 팀에게 공유
- 마감 일정에 맞춰 작업하기 위해서 프로덕션팀과의 협업 진행
자격요건- 애니메이션 또는 관련 분야의 학위/학사 또는 동등한 경험 (우대)
- 최소 4-6년의 영화 애니메이션팀 팀장의 경력 (우대)
- Maya에 대한 이해도가 있으신 분 (필수)
- Nuke와 3Ds Max에 대한 이해도가 있으신 분 (우대)
- 애니메이션 파운데이션이 좋은 분: acting, staging, posing, weight, timing, and storytelling)
- Previs 작업 경험이 있는 분 (우대)
- 프로젝트에 문제없이 잘 적응하고 좋은 태도를 지닌 분
- 물리적 움직임, 무게 및 구성에 대한 이해도가 있는 미술 분야의 경험이 있는 분
- 인간과 동물 해부학에 대한 지식과 인체 소묘 경험이 있으신 분
- 필요에 따라 기술적 문제를 해결할 수 있는 분
- Python 혹은 MEL 코딩/스크립트 경험이 있는 분 (우대)
