As a Lead Rigger, you will design, develop, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and implement rigs for all aspects for VFX shows. You will support studio wide and production project requirements including characters, vehicles, environment and other various aspects. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling of task deliverables.

Key Responsibilities- Work with production team to create the desired animation controls and qualities for objects and characters
- Test and trouble shoots animation controls and makes adjustments as necessary throughout the production cycle
- Receive direction from leadership and escalates issues quickly, as needed
- Build and design advanced characters, creatures, vehicles and props in Maya using in-house tools and pipeline.
- Mentor other members of the rigging team.
- Develop and collaborate on tools, rig-modules, workflow and plugins for the Rigging department
- Create documentation and wiki pages to help with artist training and workflow
Qualifications- Minimum of five (5) years of Rigging experience for high profile VFX/Animation projects
- Expert knowledge of Maya
- Expert knowledge of Creature deformation /puppet rigging technique and knowledge
- Expert knowledge/experience of human/creature anatomies
- Experience delivering complete milestones/tasks under tight deadlines
- Mentor other members of the rigging team
- Strong Python experience
- Eye for detail, initiative and excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong trouble shooting/problem solving ability

- 사내 툴과 파이프라인을 활용하여 Maya에서 고급 캐릭터, 크리처, 차량, 소품 등을 구축하고 설계합니다.
- 리깅 팀의 다른 구성원들을 멘토링합니다.
- 리깅 부서의 툴, 리그 모듈, 워크플로우, 플러그인 개발 및 협업을 담당합니다.
- 아티스트 교육과 워크플로우 지원을 위한 문서 및 위키 페이지를 작성합니다.
자격요건- 하이엔드 VFX/애니메이션 프로젝트에서 최소 5년 이상의 리깅 경력
- Maya에 대한 전문적인 지식
- 크리처 디포메이션/퍼펫 리깅 기법에 대한 전문적인 지식과 경험
- 인간 및 크리처 해부학에 대한 전문 지식/경험
- 촉박한 마감 기한 내에 마일스톤/작업을 완수한 경험
