This role will provide support to the Total Rewards team in the areas of People Operations, Compensation, Compliance, and Immigration. The ideal candidate will want to understand and engage in processes whereby several moving parts come together to solve for scale and work as part of a team passionate about delivering a world class employee experience.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the daily operations of People Operations as directed by the Sr People Operations Analyst and Sr Manager, Compensation
Perform administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, uploading, filing, and other general office work
Manage calendars and scheduling
Coordinate meeting requests, conference room scheduling, room setup, etc.
Monitor, audit and track compliance activities for accuracy and completion and report on progress and results to management
Conduct follow ups with employees to ensure timely participation and full compliance with training requirements
Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities
Support the preparation and organization of immigration cases under the supervision of the Senior People Operations Analyst
Provide first level tier support for employee questions across various different HR topics
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Payroll, People Partners, etc.) to address and resolve employee questions in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsible for filing, cataloging HR documents, and tracking document retention schedule
Responsible for purging HR documents based on a pre-defined retention schedule
Help build, maintain, and refine an internal employee and manager self-service and training digital library with reference materials and documentation
Assist with I-9 documentation and employment eligibility verification for new hires on their first day, ensuring compliance with federal requirements
Provide onsite event support as needed
Run departmental errands
Manage inventory, package, and ship departmental products/items
Take initiative with assignments and develop positive relationships with other departments
Qualifications
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a discrete and professional manner
Proactive attitude; demonstrated ability to take initiative and collaborate
Effective at juggling and prioritizing multiple projects and demands
Strong efficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google (Doc, Sheets, Slides), email, and calendaring programs
Experience using HR systems preferred; Workday experience a plus

The hiring range for this position in Emeryville is $55,080.00 to $71,280.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
