Our Glendale, CA office is looking for an experienced, organized, and super-savvy Production Coordinator to help support our growing slate of CG animated series. About the role:
- Experience coordinating a department for series production, such as Story, Design, Assets, Shot Review;
- Assisting the Producer and Production Manager with various tasks;
- Facilitating Director and production weekly meetings;
- Addressing leadership questions and requests during review meetings;
- Scheduling and running meetings with department creative leads such as Art Directors or Episodic Directors
- Taking notes in meetings as required, and ensuring proper notes distribution;
- Managing crew admin with Line Producer, including new starter paperwork, managing mailing lists and calendar invites, crew birthday emails, timesheet reminders, showreel requests, etc;
- Working with production personnel in a team environment, including the management of production assistants;
- Regular check-ins with artists on the team to insure artists have what they need to deliver all materials on time according to schedule deadlines.
- Tracking deadlines and flagging any complexity issues to departments as needed;
- Working with artists to provide information on how to use resources and production tools, in addition to checking on assignment progress;
- And all other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Production Company.
About you:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in animation (series or feature), video game, VFX, or live-action industries preferred;
- The ability to deal with confidential information and material discretely and professionally at all times;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- High-level organizational skills;
- Ability to prioritize and multitask;
- Must have excellent follow-thru skills;
- Experience with file management, producing and formatting documents, and updating spreadsheets;
- The ability to work to deadlines, under pressure, or in a fast-paced environment;
- Be available, team-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and a problem solver;
- Able to work effectively independently;
- A flexible approach and ability to take on extra tasks when required;
- Strong proficiency with Shotgrid and Google Suite applications preferred.
