Role Summary:
We are seeking a Stylised VFX Artist with strong Unity experience to design and implement expressive, game-ready visual effects for a dual-screen gameplay experience. You will collaborate closely with art direction and design, to deliver dynamic FX that enhance player feedback, world style, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
● Create real-time stylised VFX for characters, environments, UI, combat, and
gameplay events
● Build custom shaders using Unity Shader Graph and/or HLSL
● Optimise effects for smooth multi-screen gameplay performance
● Maintain consistency with the art style and technical constraints of the project
● Work closely with designers to integrate VFX tightly with gameplay mechanics
● Implement feedback efficiently and iterate in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
● Proficiency creating stylised VFX in Unity for shipped or playable game projects
● Strong understanding of real-time rendering, particle systems, timing, and FX
principles
● Shader authoring experience (Shader Graph or HLSL required)
● Good collaboration and problem-solving skills
