About the role
As a DevOps Engineer at mavens, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the cloud infrastructure and operational foundation of our organization. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of cloud-related tools, standards, and documentation, supporting teams from the earliest stages of planning through development and deployment, and into ongoing production operations. This includes designing scalable solutions, enabling engineering teams with best-in-class CI/CD practices, ensuring system reliability and observability, and driving operational excellence across the company. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our cloud environment remains secure, efficient, and optimized for growth.
Responsibilities
- Managing Google Cloud Platform IAM.
- Server 2 server
- Developer to Cloud
- Cloud to End users
- Building and owning cross-company logging and monitoring capabilities and setting the standards in such areas
- “Owning” our GitHub repos and GitHub Workflows, a.k.a CI/CD. Setting standards and providing templates for such pipelines (terraform, documentation, “time to deploy” optimisation)
- Managing Cloud computing resources and SLA.
- Providing Cloud support to developers.
- Involvement in our system architecture.
Requirements
- 4 years of hands-on experience in Devops.
- In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting/programming skills with Python/JS/BASH/SQL.
- The mindset and approach for automating away from manual efforts.
- Esthetic work in writing code, delivering tools, and task managing.
- Good English writing skills.
- Familiarity with Cloud providers and Services.
- GCP is a big advantage
- Datadog
- AWS
- Experience with Cloud Computing.
- Experience with GitHub Workflows.
- Experience with Linux
We prioritize the appetite to learn and grow over concrete experience, this position includes interaction with many R&D teams, multiple products and over 100 repositories and microservices. Good communication skills and the ability to create and preserve knowledge and standards are a must.
