Job Description
Reporting to the Operations and Studio teams, the Runner acts as a key facilitator, supporting all animation production teams by making day-to-day studio operations smoother and more efficient.
Reception & Logistics
Be the first friendly face of the studio: welcome visitors, handle deliveries and shipments, coordinate with suppliers and building services
Set up and maintain meeting rooms so they’re ready for use
Assist artists during their setup with the support of production teams
Daily Life & Common Spaces
Oversee the cleanliness and functionality of shared areas and production floors
Manage consumables inventory (snacks, drinks, etc.) and place orders with the studio coordinator
Track internal equipment requests (monitors, chairs, risers, etc.) via our Facilities ticketing system
Events & Hospitality
Help organize internal events, team meals, screenings, and studio gatherings
Welcome clients and guests with care (drinks, snacks, taxi booking, etc.)
Support the Operations team during internal or external events (setup, logistics, teardown)
Team Support
Work with the IT and Operations teams to coordinate artist moves and workstation setups
Prepare welcome kits, distribute access cards, and help onboard new hires
Liaise with IT to report and follow up on technical issues
Provide occasional backup to production coordinators as needed
Remote Work & Equipment Management
Prepare and track remote work equipment, manage loan forms, and collect gear at the end of contracts
Update ShotGrid tickets and coordinate with relevant teams
Qualifications
Passionate, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
Well-organized, responsive, and adaptable
Enjoys working in a team with energy, friendliness, and a positive attitude
Able to handle pressure and multitask
Proficient in basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Familiarity with ShotGrid, Photoshop, or Illustrator is a plus
Interest in animation is a bonus, but not required
Bilingual: French and English
Additional Information
The person in this role will work closely with our Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients. They will regularly interact with non-French-speaking stakeholders across various productions and strategic communications, in order to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
